Nora Senior

Nora Senior is Executive Chair UK Regions, Ireland and the Nordics of leading global
PR/public affairs consultancy, Weber Shandwick. She is part of the senior leadership
management team of the multi million pound agency, which has over 3,000 employees in
132 offices in 83 countries.

Based in Nottingham, Nora has over 23 years agency experience in the public relations
industry and has worked with many major international brands, specialising in
multi-country and multi-disciplinary corporate communications programmes, advising
both FTSE 100 organisations as well as start-up companies across a wide range of sectors, including
property/construction, energy, finance, healthcare, technology and FMCG. She has worked with many major brands
including Coca Cola; Oracle; Bausch + Lomb, Perrier, Glenmorangie, Shell and Tesco.

She was previously Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi (North) and founded a start-up company The PR Centre,
which she successfully merged with Shandwick.

Nora is a regional adviser to the London Stock Exchange. She was awarded the First Women UK Media Award in 2013
and has been recognised for her business acumen through a series of awards including a global ‘Stevie’ for Best
Woman in Business in Europe, Middle East and Asia; a UK Business Achievement Award and recognised as a Fellow of
the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for outstanding contribution to the PR industry.

She was appointed Chair of Scottish Chambers of Commerce in January 2013 and elected President of British
Chambers of Commerce in July 2013 – the first time in both Chambers’ history that these offices have been held by
the same person simultaneously. She has tirelessly promoted the views and interests of Midlands and wider UK based
businesses to Government and in particular has championed a drive to encourage businesses into exporting.
